What’s the one word that sums up 2020 in your mind?

– Tragic?
– Forgetful?
– Unprecedented?
– Maybe, overwhelming?

Perhaps, all of them.

Towards the end of 2019, here are a few things that the world was anticipating in 2020.

– World Expo 2020 at Dubai
– The US was bracing for a recovery in employment.
– The world eagerly anticipated Japan hosting the Summer Olympics.
– Movie lovers were waiting the release of Black Widow, Fast and Furious 9, and Wonder Woman 1984, etc.

But then, COVID-19 happened.

The coronavirus — first described in January as a mysterious, flu-like ailment making the rounds in Wuhan, China — brought the global economy to a ‘never seen before’ halt.

Millions lost their jobs. Over 1.65 million people lost their lives. Offices shut down, schools shut down, malls shut down, travelling stopped, hugging stopped, masks came on, sanitizers were everywhere, work became remote and everyone did almost everything on video calls.

2020 tested humanity. It forced people to change how they live, work, relate, interact and contribute.

As we near 2021, we face a few important questions. In the post-pandemic world, how much time will you invest on…

– health?
– family and loved ones?
– yourself and your hobbies?
– making this world a better place to live in?

In other words, will the importance of winning the un-win-able rat race recede and the importance of LIVING a beautiful life gain focus?

Wishing you a happy, balanced, prioritized, beautiful, smiley 2021. If there is anyways I can be of help in making 2021 the best year ever of your life, do let me know. You will find me by your side.

With love, prayers and exceptional wishes,
