The great investor Warren Buffet says, “My life is better because of Charlie.”

Here are a few of Charlie Munger’s life lessons that I love. I am sure you will like many of them too.

CM – “Don’t have a lot of envy”.
NG – Envy makes you feel impotent and helpless. It makes you feel less than who you are. Why would you want to do that, champion?

CM – “Don’t have a lot of resentment”.
NG – Resentment is so frustrating. Resentment hurts you and lowers your performance. It makes you lose focus. Why would you want to do that, lovely human?

CM – “Don’t overspend your income”.
NG – Spend on needs. Only spend your ‘EXCESS’ money on ‘wants’. Overspending your income is a sure-fire way to stress. Why would you want to do that, dear virtuoso?

CM – “You stay cheerful in spite of your troubles”.
NG – Everyone has their share of troubles. Being cheerful makes the troubles weak. Overcoming the troubles is then easy peasy. Being troubled gives you zero advantage. So, why stay troubled you gem of a person?

CM – “You deal with reliable people”.
NG – This the best for me. Great things can be done in life when we work with a reliable person. Your greatness will be revealed in full glory when you work with reliable people. Isn’t that right o’ reliable friend?

CM – “Do what you’re supposed to do”.
NG – Isn’t this simple and awesome. Why wait for ANYONE to do what we are supposed to do? So go on! Find time for things you are supposed to do. Health, fitness, family, holidays, reading, learning, upgrading…make time for them and be your own sunshine!

Of the above life lessons, which one appealed the most to you, my darling friend? Do let me know even if your answer is just a word. It matters to me.

With love, prayers and exceptional wishes,
