A thief steals some superb amazing things. They do not value it enough and pawn it at much less value. I was actually doing the same.
Selling/sacrificing/exchanging priceless things for insignificant things.
From school days, do you remember ‘fill in the blanks’? Let’s do the same today. I did and I laughed at my own stupidities. Here we go!
- I sacrifice/exchange my wonderful HEALTH for the insignificant……………. (late nights?)!
- I sacrifice/exchange the most complete experience in life, LOVE for………………(ego?)!
- I sacrifice/exchange the amazingly significant thing called PEACE for the insignificant……… (power games?)!
- I sacrifice/exchange the extra-ordinary experience of SPIRITUALITY for the insignificant ………………(greed?)!
- I sacrifice/exchange TIME with family members for insignificant……………(net surfing?)!
- I sacrifice/exchange the most coveted SELF-RESPECT for the insignificant………………(self sympathy?)!
- I sacrifice/exchange career creating STUDIES for the insignificant………………..(screen games?)!

The only difference being, I was not pawning ‘things’ yet they were the most brilliant ‘aspects’’ of my life. So are you a thief too? Your thoughts?
