Dearest Darling Friends,

Ego is fog. It makes smart people drive into walls. Confidently.

Some of the costliest mistakes I have made in life did not come from lack of intelligence.
They came from certainty.
The kind that slowly closes windows inside the mind.

I noticed how dangerous it can become when experience starts turning into identity.

• I stopped exploring.
• I started defending.
• I stopped listening fully because somewhere inside, I had already concluded.

The unsettling part was this:

From the outside, confidence and ego can look almost identical for a while.

Both speak firmly.
Both sound convincing.
Both move fast.

But one remains open.
The other becomes fog.

I remember conversations where I was so busy protecting my position that I completely missed the wisdom sitting across me.
Not because the other person was unclear.
Because I was.

That realization humbled me.

These days, I find myself respecting people who can pause mid-sentence and say, “Maybe I need to rethink this.”

There is immense strength in that.
Not weak strength.
Clean strength.

The kind that keeps learning alive.

Walls are not always external obstacles.
Walls inside our own minds are bigger and more dangerous obstacles. Isn’t it?
